Artwork Donations & Cultural Legacy.

VUGA Foundation welcomes inquiries from collectors, artists, estates, galleries, foundations, and advisors interested in donating selected artworks, archives, collections, or cultural objects that align with our mission.

Artwork donations may support VUGA Foundation's exhibitions, educational programs, public collection work, cultural preservation efforts, and future museum initiatives.

What We May Consider

Types of works under review.

VUGA Foundation reviews inquiries for the following categories. Acceptance is reviewed individually based on mission fit, documentation, and condition.

And objects connected to equality, justice, healing, cultural memory, global peace, or international artistic exchange.

Appraisal & Documentation

About valuation and tax language.

For donors. For artwork and other non-cash charitable gifts, donors may use an independent qualified appraisal to support the value of their contribution, subject to IRS rules and applicable limits under U.S. law.
What VUGA does not do. VUGA Foundation does not provide tax, legal, or appraisal advice. Donors should consult their own accountant, tax advisor, legal advisor, or qualified appraiser regarding valuation, documentation, and deductibility.
Process

Review process.

  1. 1 Submit artwork or collection information.
  2. 2 VUGA Foundation reviews mission fit.
  3. 3 Documentation, provenance, condition, and storage needs are reviewed.
  4. 4 The team follows up if there is potential fit.
  5. 5 If accepted, donation documentation is handled separately.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance. All proposed artwork donations are reviewed individually.
